Success at stock market options trading basics
Finding an options trading mentor was truly the key to my success and the reason why I am now able to teach you about wealth building. They taught me the secrets of the wealthy and I took the information and ran with it. I assume you want to know who I am, why should you listen to me, and what can I teach you about options trading?

My birth name is Travis Wilkerson, but people call me Trader Travis and options trading has dramatically improved the quality of my life as well as my family's. I'm currently a full time options trader however, my trading style does not require a large time commitment, so this is not my only source of income. I had already been investing in stocks and mutual funds with minimal success before I was introduced to options trading.
I was motivated to learn about stock options because I was in the middle of a business failure. Working at a regular corporate job was not going to cut it so one of my friends introduced me to a guy who, at the time, was his options trading mentor.
After hearing what he had to offer, I decided I would also allow him to be my options trading mentor. The first thing he did was teach me basic budgeting skills so that I would not end up in the same financial mess years later. The budgeting lessons were a surprise and I can't say that it was a welcomed surprise.
It was the best thing he could have ever done because I'm now using those skills to build wealth instead of spending everything I make. You want an options trading mentor that will not only show you how to make money, but also how to keep it. As my lessons progressed, he eventually taught me how to trade stock options successfully. The experience proved to be invaluable. I thought I was a natural born pro. At the pace I was going it was only a matter of time before I became a millionaire.
At least that's what I thought. In my enlightened, egotistical state of mind I made a typical mistake that most amateur traders make.
Well it worked for about two years and then my habits caught up with me. I crashed and burned and had to start all over. That's what happens when you don't listen to people who have succeeded before you. They are successful for a reason!
I learned a valuable lesson. Having a great deal of "head knowledge" about stock options doesn't necessarily mean you'll be a great trader. It didn't help that I was trading the exact opposite way that my options trading mentor taught me.
Broken and humiliated, I took a few years off from trading. I eventually went back to the basics and started all over again, this time giving up on the idea of "getting rich quick. The change in attitude made all the difference.
I've had continued success since then and now I spend my time teaching my students a proven blueprint as well as teaching them what not to do! It's a long hard road to success and most give up before they reach their goals. What works for me might not work for you. I want you to be a smart investor and a smart investor is one who finds the best trading system that works with their own unique character traits.
