We all agree on one thing though: Dave Ramsey has a daily radio broadcast across the nation that is quite entertaining and educational. If you can't get to the broadcast you download the daily podcasts for free from iTunes , Google Play , and the Microsoft Store among other places. You can also catch their show live on the web or via their YouTube channel.

Both excellent subreddits to help you gain better control of your personal finances and get out of debt. We just tend to be a little more passionate and Gazelle intense in getting out of debt than some of the other subreddits.

Dave Ramsey Live 7 Baby Steps

FPU stands for Financial Peace University. A 9-week in-person or online course that comprises of videos and group discussions. It's a phenomenal program and highly recommended by all us here if you are serious about getting out of debt and learning more about the Baby Steps.

Classes are held all year long all over the US.

I haven't gotten the chance to mess with it, but is the new every dollar app and budget a free version of the MTMMO? Also, can I sync my MTMMO budget all 93 of them to the new ED app? Personally I say if you like what you are using and it's working for you, keep rolling with it. That being said, most of the online budgeting software including every dollar is free to try, so it's pretty low risk to check it out if you're curious.

I've not been on the MTMMO forums in a few months but I imagine there might be some similar questions. I love Mvelopes, personally We don't do cash envelopes so the virtual system works well. The free version has 25 free envelope categories You can link to bank accounts for free unlike everydollar. They have a "debt payoff" module in the pro version, but we haven't done that, since we just have one debt left.

I have it listed as an account and update it manually when we apply payments. ED is free, so just give it a shot and see for yourself. I would think it's fairly different than MTMMO which I have never tried.

My wife and I got an invitation to join ED Plus for free for a quarter because we were paying members of MyTMMO. It is a better tool than MyTMMO overall, in my opinion. They don't do Allocated Spending Plans yet, nor does the Snowball lay out your payments on a payoff schedule, but the MyTMMO tools for that are free anyway. My Review Scott Alan Turner's Review. Am I correct in these basically being electronic envelopes? Like a sinking fund?

We tend to do cash for everything and we are comfortable with our MTMMO budgets, but we way switch to ED. I like the convenience of being an app.
