Roger joined Community Trust Financial Services in and would certainly describe himself as being passionate about his work and his clients! He appreciates the relationships he has been able to build with his clients and the fact that he can help so many people with the outstanding resources available at Community Trust Financial Services.
Born and raised in Letcher County, Roger attended Hazard Community College, where he obtained an Associate in Applied Sciences Degree in Business Management. After college, he worked with his father in the mining business as an equipment operator.
This experience provided Roger with a real understanding of just how hard clients work for their money and still drives him today to make sure he is doing everything possible to help clients pursue their goals. Roger worked as an insurance agent from until joining Community Trust Financial Services. During this time Roger obtained both his Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designation.
While working in the insurance industry, Roger served as State Treasurer for the Insurance Agents Association. He also served as President of the Letcher County Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of work, Roger enjoys spending time with his family, target shooting and attending his church. Insurance products offered through LPL Financial or its licensed affiliates.
