I do NOT get why there seems to be such a rush to abandon the PS3 and move on. I have 3 PS3's currently, two of which are still sealed that I got via good deals at retail. That's a crock to me. The PS2 was supported for YEARS after the PS3 released. It didn't get half baked ports like the PS3 is getting now see: Shadow Of Mordor, Mortal Kombat X, etc , some of which BARELY function as a game see: Yet it seems like everybody and not just Sony are so willing to move on.

I'm NOT and by these companies dumping MILLIONS of gamers like me who aren't ready or willing to move on as well you're insulting a lot of your customers with one gigantic slap across the face. So maybe if I move onto gaming it'll be on another platform.

Maybe even on a gaming PC since they don't have to pay to play and can pretty much do as they please with their games. The GB models are still pretty easy to find.

It does seem that all of the other models are getting more difficult to find, though. The 12 and GB models are still in production, as far as I know, but it would seem that they've at least decreased production on those units.

I wouldn't expect the PS3 to be put out of production entirely until at the very earliest. Personally I'd guess not for another couple of years. It is definitly decision time for Sony on the PS3.

I am sure we will know what is going on between know and E3. The PS TV is on fire sale, but your thoughts on it being a PS3 for PS Now is interesting. In no way is there going to be a PS4 price drop this year PS4's are still selling like crazy, SONY has no incentive to lower the price.

We are nearing the end of the PS3 lifecycle In about years, the full focus will be on PS4. How many times did everyone say "in another two or three years" about the PS2?

And I don't know where you guys are doing your online shopping, but Amazon has them and I went to Bestbuy. I don't know why, but a lot of big chain stores barely kept them in stock. And of course I am talking about way before PS4.

It was even difficult to find a certain model or special bundle. Probably the only stores that will somewhat sell them new or used will be Wal-Mart and GameStop.
